2020 kicked off with two great festival events. Our first affair was our annual semi-formal Academy Awards Viewing Party which took place at LA Castle Studios. BIFF's elegant event was listed prominently on Variety magazine's
Top Ten Oscar Party List along with Vanity Fair, Elton John and Madonna.

150 guests attended the gala event, walked the red carpet, sipped cocktails, viewed the The Oscars and enjoyed a sumptuous gourmet dinner catered by Chef Jay Lipnicki. We even had a surprise visit from the The Joker who was a real cut-up and posed with attendees for photos and selfies.

Our second event was an Audition Technique and Self-Tape workshop taught by working actor and festival president Jeff Rector, Casting Director Terry Berland and working actor & self-tape guru Tim Powell. It's more vital than ever to set-up your own self-tape studio at home to audition and to continue book work.
